Quito - Ecuador
Guided Tour over Colonial area of Quito and El Panecillo hill
Nairobi being the capital of Kenya is a modern cosmopolitan, which is perfect for your next vacation. Although there is a lot to see in the city, we suggest for you to explore its surroundings as well. It is known how Kenyans respect and protect the nature around them, and a 2 hour drive to Great Rift Valley, will show you that it is true.
Here is what you will see on this route:
Lake Naivasha: The second largest freshwater lake in Kenya found in the Great Rift Valley. The name derives from the local Maasai name Nai'posha, meaning "rough water" because of the sudden storms which can arise. Here you’ll be entertained by the wide range of game attracted to these shores, such as giraffes, buffalos, colobus monkeys, large hippos.
Great Rift Valley Escarpment: Part of an intra-continental ridge system that runs through Kenya from north to south. It was formed on the "Kenyan Dome" a geographical upwelling created by the interactions of three major tectonics: the Arabian, Nubian, and Somalian plates. The floor is broken by volcanoes, some still active, and contains a series of lakes.
Note: Vehicle is provided in this tour and it is therefore included in the price.
