On this tour you will learn about the Portuguese Discoveries, which consists of a series of sea voyages and explorations carried out by the Portuguese between 1415 and 1543. The discoveries resulted in the expansion of Portugal and were an essential contribution to delineate the map of the world. Portuguese sailors were at the vanguard of European overseas exploration, discovering and mapping the coasts of Africa, Canada, Asia and Brazil.
